Swaziland

Driving from Lesotho to Swaziland we were able to have

Breakfast in Lesotho – Lunch in South Africa -Dinner in Swaziland.

Which felt quite cool, the guys wanted to know if we could go to Mozambique for dinner, I told them they would have to walk…

This border crossing was an easy and quick one!

Things had started to fall into place, and we were able to base ourselves in one place which for the week which made things a lot easier for us and enabled us to catch our breath and for me to sort out all my boxes with my “office” equipment in so I could actually work on the upcoming countries activities, routes etc when I got a spare minute that is!

We visited Nyagna, the glass blowing factory – some impressive skills in there, the local craft markets and artisans, which was going to be the focus of the Swaziland’s Africa As One video. We toured the countryside and ended up in the mountains in thick fog and almost got taken out by an idiot speeding on the wrong side of the road.

I had a few TV and Radio interviews I had to make regarding our upcoming trip, I’m going to have to practise this part of the job…

The rugby clinics went so much better this time around even with a venue change 2 hours before we were due to start…  Everything turned out really well and I could now see the blueprint forming in my head.

Now back to SA to get the carnets for the cars and on to Zimbabwe.
